I once read that you should never take photos on holiday, as it means you won't be fully participating in the experience of being in the place. Maybe I just have a bad memory, but I don't agree with that sentiment, as I love looking over my photos and remembering fun trips and holidays. This week I made the long-anticipated trip to the Aran Islands. After a rather jaunty 3-hour crossing, we were lucky enough to have a whole rain-free day of sightseeing by bicycle, a day which my legs still haven't forgiven me for. Here are a few of the many photos I took on beautiful Inis Mór, including the breathtaking Dún Aonghasa...and the cutest baby chickens ever!
I have yet to have the opportunity to visit the Island, but I have never heard a bad word spoken of it. Ill have to do it at some stage, Skellig Michael would be another boat trip I have to do. Someday! Especially keen to see Dún Aonghasa! Did you get to see the other islands?
