Grinding it out.

Here's a watercolour of another day in the office for these rugger pros. After sussing out some works by Titian and Caravaggio I tried have a go at making the most of the light and shade, while also cranking up the richness of the colours. Those old masters were amazing.

  1. Nicely done, the struggle is depicted well. You should do one where the guy is about to be hit, I always like those moments before an impact

  2. The figures are really clear and coherent, impressive for such a complicated set of postures.

  5. Thanks lads. Mike your idea on the pre impact image is a great idea. I'm trying to fuse backgrounds with foregrounds a bit better these days.
