Lackaduv Wedge Tomb

I know Im a day early but I am off on holidays tomorrow morning really early so this is the only chance I could get to post. No point in getting someone else to do this when its just the day before I think.

The above is the last of the tombs I saw on that May trip with Rob. Is a great area, looking forward to seeing it again in the end of this month. If anyone is interested I did a little writeup about the place and these tombs in general here:

  1. great rendering in this one. all seems to form very well. especially like the way the tomb is emerging from the long grass.

  2. Thanks Rich, was a fun one to do, challenging as it kind of just looks like a bunch of rocks, not much left of it but that added to the character of it too.

  3. You caught the scene alright. It was a little bleak around that spot but very interesting as there were two other monuments and a collapsed souterrein within two hundred metres of the location of this drawing. Class drawing by the way. those pines frame the slab nicely.
