Hello all and welcome to another installment of "What nightmare shall I have tonight then hmmmmmmm?"
Yup, still him. Where were we
After last week the only things left to do are fix the scratch across whats left of his head and onto the ground and some miscolouring.
Starting with the scratch.
Using the spot healing brush tool fairly gently along with the blur tool to stop the pixels standing out to much. This one was a fairly easy scratch to work with since it was more of a crease really, actual scratches remove the colour altogether and usually happen in the worst place possible. This was a case of straightening everything out with the clone stamp tool, using shadows mostly to get it done.
Fixing the colour is usually a very simple thing if the colours are light, but since this is sepia tones it wont be that easy
I had to mostly use the patch tool which can be found in the drop down menu for the spot healing brush and works by selecting the area you want to fix and dragging the selection to a similar area, the colour and some of the sampled area will copy over the damage, you can then use the spot healing brush and blur tool to clean up the edges. And thats about it for this one, no more dead guy, have a cheer :)
Oh ya, dont forget to add a border of the original colour and soften the edges of the image itself, sharp corners stand out. FINISHED
