Paintout Ballymaloe House
A personal piece of art I did during a paintout at the beautiful surroundings of Ballymaloe House. Thanks again to Kevin who was so kind and borrowed me his foldable easel.
This is still one of my favourite pieces by you, what is most striking is how it seems so close to your digital work, that your style works well across media.
I like as well the ways in which you have improved on the original place, like the touch of red bricks on the top and the strength of the green moss. Very cool stuff!

Beautiful work Eva, I remember the day you did it and I'm still as impressed, it's a real treasure :)
ReplyDeleteYou always make it seem so easy, colours match really well
ReplyDeleteWow, you actually managed to capture the character of a door
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this, would love to see more. I look forward to buying Eva Widermann's Book of Irish Doors. :)
