Rembrandt Study

minen lead and oil pitt on 150 lb cartridge 30 x 20 cm

This is a pencil study of Rembrandt's "Self portrait with a walking stick", 

for this I used Derwent pencils, minen leads and an oil pitt pencil.

For me doing pencil studies of the old masters is really usefull. I find spending 

hours looking at the one painting is a good way to learn.
