'White Rooster' - Gouache on board work in progress.
Inspired by my mother hen for mothers day and the great expressions you see on chickens faces, I have started work on this portrait of a rooster. Taking a break from watercolour on paper and using Gouache on board to achieve more vivid colours and a more dynamic image, using a pure black background to off set the pale white feathers of the rooster. I hope people enjoy the work so far.
Nice man! your great with gouache as well. Love the rendering especially the crown thingy they have and the eyes, looking forward to the finish!
